So we have some pretty cool events/classes coming up this month. For those of you that are unable to make a weeknight Pasta Making class, this month we've added one to Saturday, March the 12th. This way you're able to come in during an afternoon to learn to make fresh wonderful homemade pasta, have some wine, and share good times. We encourage anyone who has always wanted to make homemade pasta to take advantage of the weekend day class!


We will be hosting an amazing tasting event featuring King's Family Distillery award-winning 5-year original rye whiskey, and their new 'Fancy Lady' which will be an exclusive spirit that is not yet in distribution and will be a new product release at this event. We still have spots available for our Traditional Indian Cooking Class. We will be making from scratch a traditional dish called 'Murgh makhani', which is also known as Chicken Makhani or Indian Butter Chicken. This dish has so many lovely flavors that with each bite you taste a new spice. Wonderfully delicious!


Have you ever wanted to make something super pretty yet edible? Come to our Sweet Saturday class this month where we will show you how to make the most beautiful sugar and chocolate eggs!



Let's not forget March Wine Wednesday! This month we will be featuring beautiful Spanish wines and food pairings. Stay tuned for more info!



 

Are you like us and tend to follow the new and upcoming food trends? Well, our queen, Martha Stewart has pretty much nailed what we've been telling you for a couple of years now. On a more serious note... If you’ve gone to the grocery store lately, you may have noticed that food prices have increased tremendously over the past few months. There are many reasons why prices are going up which may not be readily apparent, but they become more evident when taking a closer look. The consumer price index rose 7.5% in the 12-months ending in January, not adjusted for seasonal swings. It was the steepest annual price increase since February 1982 and worse than economists had forecast. Grocery store food purchases, rose 6.4%, the price of meat, poultry, fish, and eggs increased by 12.8%, wheat that increased in price by over 40% has made crackers, bread, etc. much more expensive, and let us not forget food shortages. With all of that being said, we have increased some classes an additional $5-$15 per class as this allows us to continue giving/serving you the best quality of all products that we use in our classes. We pride ourselves in the quality of food and products that we have given you for the past two years, so we've made a few adjustments to continue doing so. We thank you for your understanding, and look forward to many more delicious dinners with all of you!

 

Are you a lover of Bourbon or Whiskey? We have the most amazing event for you this month! We will be hosting a product new release with King's Family Distillery on March 22nd.
